Journal of Islamic Perspective on Science, Technology and Society (JISTECS) is motivated by the progressive researches in many disciplines during the last century on the one hand and the lack of spiritual values in such researches on the other hand leading to less enlightening science for humanity and civilization.
Hence, JISTECS attempts to develop proper links between science and Islam as a way of life that has a specific view on science and civilization. For this purpose, we design JISTECS as a unique peer-reviewed open access on-line scientific journal that provides an interdisciplinary, international and interfaith forum for scientist from any discipline areas. JISTECS is regularly published by Association of Indonesian Moslem Scholar or Vereinigung indonesischer muslimischen Intellektuellen e.V (PRIMA e.V.) enables the PRIMA to expand the service to provide an intellectual forum to assess relation of science and technology with Islamic society. It encourages reflective thinking and progressive working toward development of science and technology in Islamic world. In addition, JISTECS welcomes interfaith scholars to actively join, as we believe that development of Islam is important for world society, regardless of ideology.
